Woman in Progress: Kim Palmer, creator of Clementine App

Our Woman in Progress this week is Kim Palmer, the creator of an app called Clementine. Clementine isn't "a spiritual, hippie app – it’s clever, sharp and aesthetically on-point. It’s for the modern woman to help balance, "to sleep better, feel calmer and be your best self." Something we could certainly do with, having been slightly less calm in recent weeks and not slept properly since 2011... In January this year, The Guardian included Clementine in their article ‘The Seven Apps every woman should own’. With a busy work and home life we are so grateful to Kim for kindly answering our questions and sharing her story with us.

Woman in Progress: Laetitia Maklouf

Our final Woman in Progress of 2017 is the wonderful Laetitia Maklouf.  Laetitia's funny and informative Instagram feed (a nearly impossible combo to get right) is where we first 'met' and we've been hooked ever since.  Whether you're a keen gardener or just starting out, her newsletter is one of our favourite emails of the week and a real motivation to achieve a bit of gardening every week.  Sign up to it here.

We're thrilled that Laetitia's taken the time to answer our questions.

Woman in Progress: Molly Aldridge, M&C Saatchi PR

Our next Woman in Progress is Molly Aldridge, mum to two gorgeous young boys and global CEO of M&C Saatchi PR.  Before joining M&C Saatchi, she set up her own PR firm, SLAM, which she grew from a team of four to over a hundred (whilst having a newborn - we're exhuacasted just writing this).  She combines this with being huge fun and one of the reasons we miss London so much.

We've also completely abused her inability to say no (see below) by asking her to answer our questions.  Thanks Molly!

Woman in Progress: Bonnie Chung from Miso Tasty

Our next Woman in Progress is the fabulous Bonnie Chung, founder of Miso Tasty, a fast-growing food business whose mission is to make tasty and nutritious Japanese food easy for anybody to make themselves.  Bonnie came up with the idea for Miso Tasty when she was 24, whilst working as a chef, and today their soups, miso pastes and noodle kits are stocked in Waitrose, Sainsburys, Ocado, Wholefoods and so many other places.  Miso Tasty is one of those food start-ups that others look to in admiration (and a bit of envy!).  Bonnie's also recently published her first cookbook.  Not that we're jealous or anything.

Woman in Progress: Aagot Vigdís Óskarsdóttir, legal scholar

The third of our guest Woman in Progress posts, Aagot Vigdís Óskarsdóttir has combined an amazing legal career with motherhood, and continues to inspire with the work she does.  We particularly love her advice that "You don’t have to be perfect and that the world does not come to an end even though you allow yourself to take it easy and relax every now and then."
