Woman in Progress Christmas Gift Guide: For Her

I'm one of those helpful people who say "I don't know, nothing really" when asked what I'd like for Christmas.  In case you have to buy for someone just as imaginative, here are our ideas.  Not a sponsor in sight (sigh) but lots of lovely things to choose from.

1.  Blanket Knit Kit Super Chunky DIY Giant Throw

Cosy nights in become cosy knits in with this DIY kit containing merino wool in a choice of 20 colours.  You just need you, your arms and this kit from Wool Couture.  £60, Not On The Highstreet

2.  Gin Gift Set

This set of Sipsmith gin, recipe cards, muddler and extra miniatures to try complete with hammered copper mugs.  Perfect for a gin-loving lady.  £40, Not Another Bill

3.  Leather Backpack by Neil Harper

This backpack is practical, simple and stylish and I'd quite like one - anyone listening?  Bags are always a fabulous gift and this would not disappoint.  £190, Holly & Co.

4.  Molecules 01 Fragrance

The only perfume Laura's ever worn which people continually ask about.  Molecules 01 is a fragrance made using just one scent molecule, it's gorgeous!  You can get it in the big department stores like Liberty or Harvey Nichols or online here

5.  Zara Sequin Sweater

Cosy, wintry and sparkly to boot.

This grey sequin jumper from Zara is quite lovely.  It might see us through from Christmas Day morning to New Year and beyond.  It's Christmassy yet not over the top and will be great until it gets warm again.  £39.99, Zara

6.  Stationery

Pretty much anything from Quill London.  We're a bit obsessed with Quill (and founder Lucy - check out her interview here) in case you hadn't noticed.  This Calligraphy Lovers Box if she is already a pro or perhaps, a workshop so she can learn how to use it.  £39.00, Quill London

7.  Emerald Drop Earrings

Laura and I are avid fans of the statement earring - & Other Stories have many to choose from.  These pendant pear drops are a bit more understated (Laura - you sent this picture to Hugh right?) but I love them!  The description says blue but they are definitely green.  £19, & Other Stories

Stocking Fillers

From left to right - we know you can work it out, sorry.

We firmly believe you can never have too many notebooks.  This A6 Personalised Notebook is monogrammed and there are plenty of colours to choose from.  £12.00, Not Another Bill

This book tells the story of Erin Loechner, her fame, fortune and new found direction.  Even when life is anything but slow, it could give the reader some quiet time to herself.  £16.99, Holly & Co.

This Christmas Truffle Selection Box will beat hands down any other box of choices.  £5, Creightons Chocolaterie (another of our Women in Progress)

Local jeweller Deepa makes beautiful delicate jewellery and this little Circle set is just so pretty.  £38.00, Mela Jewellery

Woman in Progress Gift guide for Her

Oh wait, I thought of something!  I'd like a something beautiful to hang on the wall, so any of these prints from the fabulous Kitty and Liezel at SubjectMatterArt would be amazing.  If not, an Instax 9 camera please.

Happy shopping!
